The Majestic Beauty of Zion

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Genesis 1:1

That is certainly the feeling that came over me when I saw Zion. The majestic beauty and grandeur of this magnificent creation is a spiritual connection to something larger than ourselves.

My hope for all of us is that we never lose our sense of wonder and may we always still feel small when we stand beside the bountiful beauty that was created for us. Life is to be appreciated and viewed with daily gratitude. I hope some of these images remind you of the beauty within your life. Click on the first image and a slide show will start.

  1. Wow….absolutely spectacular! Such beauty, such vastness….such depth and height, along with such glorious color. What a beautiful place! I can’t wait to see it…I hope it won’t be horrible in late July…but that’s when our trip will be. 😉 Thanks so much for these wonderful teasers!

  2. Fantastic photo’s … Every time I see shots of this part of the country I think about what the Settlers must have been thinking after traveling 100’s of miles across the flatlands of the midwest. The awe and majesty are definetly all Gods!! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Zion – it’s been on my list for a long time. Your great pictures is moving it up the “gotta-go” list now. Thanks for sharing!

  4. No way!!! Your photo does not look like you are around my age, but my first look at it made me think that you lived across the street from me…on Vista de Sierra…and now I think you’ve confirmed that!!!

  6. Zion NP is one of my favorite places in the entire world– you did such a great job of capturing just how big and beautiful it is. I love the dusting of snow, it adds so much character! Thank you for sharing!!
