My Inspirational Muses

Santa Barbara Mission

I have been perusing through the photography that all of you have posted today ~ and at the risk of putting myself out there as a star-struck dork, and let’s face it, it wouldn’t be the first time ~ I have to say, I am amazed at all the talent that abounds on this site. Kudos to all of you!

I am referring to everyone because each of you has a unique vision and talent, and I take something away from everything I see. And can I just say, that for those of you who are posting your iPhone images ~ I bow to you! Some of those images are amazing and it blows me away that an iPhone has the capability to produce photos like that and that is a testament to you, the photographer.

So thank you for being my inspirational muses and encouraging me to try to do better!

  1. You are an inspiration to the rest of us, too … your Utah photos are fantastic! And I just noticed the book you made under the “Shop” tab – I’m a huge fan of Blurb books. Great job!!

  2. Your photography inspires me…I love your posts and look forward to what you have captured:) I love the picture of the Mission with the window grates…the colors involved…the light…I can almost feel myself there. Thank you as always:)

  3. Hi,
I agree about some iPhone pictures, I also have seen some wonderful images on some blogs, also some great videos as well that was taken by iPhones.
Very unusual windows in your photo, I notice that the building they are on is a Mission, very old I should imagine, beautiful ornate work in the iron bars.

  4. Yes, even my shot was taken from an iPhone, but to be honest they really only work well in good light. One things for sure though, I have my iPhone handy more often than my Canon SLR.
