Weekly Photo Challenge: Today

Well, this challenge couldn’t have been any easier and now I get to document what I did today. As I stated in my earlier post, I spent the day in my yard planting…

…some lavender for a pop of color and because it’s hearty in full sun (I love this variety for its wild little hairs on top of its head)…

…some azaleas (boring photograph because they’re not in bloom) and then I found this plant that I was not familiar with ~ Platinum Wallaby Mulla Mulla ~ I love it just for the name but it also has a beautiful soft texture to it.

I think I’ll head over to Santa Cruz tomorrow to try to find some decorative statuary to complete the look in my front yard. Enjoy your weekend. πŸ™‚

  1. I love that variety of lavender, too, Spanish lavender I think. It always reminds me of beautiful purple bumblebees. Your pictures are gorgeous!

  2. That Wallaby Mulla Mulla (you’re right, what a name!)…does it open and bloom? Or is that the actual flower? It’s gorgeous, never seen one like it. Beautiful!
